Applause Granted MBE Certification as the Company Continues Its Commitment to Diversity

Applause is committed to diversity and inclusiveness. They are core values that make up the fabric of our company and our uTest community, and we take them seriously. They are key to our mission and are big parts of the reason why Applause is continuously named one of the best places to work on both a local and national level.

As the next step in our commitment to diversity, Applause is excited to announce it has been granted its Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) certification. This certification validates Applause’s status as a minority-owned business, and verifies that we meet the criteria as defined by the National Minority Supplier Development Council (NMSDC), which requires a business to be at least 51% owned, operated and controlled by racial or ethnic minorities who are also U.S. citizens.

With this certification, Applause will join more than 400 national corporate members that are recognized as part of the NMSDC, and more than 1,450 corporate members recognized through the 23 regional NMSDC affiliates. Like all these members of the NMSDC, Applause is committed to working with suppliers and vendors that come from a wide range of backgrounds, so that all voices are included and we can ensure that we are making a meaningful impact with our business.

We know that many of our customers are similarly passionate about diversity, and many have specific supplier requirements to ensure diversity in their supply chains. The MBE certification demonstrates Applause’s commitment to helping customers realize their social aspirations for their employees and end users through their supply chain fulfillment.

Our business thrives because of our diversity. And we are excited to continue to showcase this commitment with the MBE certification.
